There’s something about the shift into spring...the in-between days where the weather doesn’t quite settle. Cold mornings turn into warm afternoons, and the ground is still a little soft from winter. It’s a season that calls for something versatile. Something you don’t have to think too hard about.
That’s where the Camp Scout Boot comes in.
We took our classic Scout Boot and paired it with our most popular camp sole. The result is a version that feels lighter, more flexible, and easy to wear right out of the box. It’s a small change, but one that makes a noticeable difference in how the boot moves and feels throughout the day.

Like all of our footwear, the Camp Scout is built by hand in Maine using traditional moccasin construction. This method allows the leather to wrap naturally around your foot, creating a fit that improves over time. Each pair breaks in differently, shaping itself to the person wearing it.
The camp sole gives the boot a more relaxed, everyday feel. It’s comfortable underfoot, easy to walk in, and suited for a range of use, from daily wear around town to getting out into the woods for a few hours. It’s not overly built or complicated. Just a solid, dependable boot for the season.
We’ve always believed that good footwear should feel natural. Something you reach for without hesitation. The Camp Scout Boot is exactly that: a familiar shape, reworked to be even more wearable.
As with everything we make, it’s produced in small batches. Built with care, meant to be worn often, and designed to get better with time.
