Last week, we spent an afternoon picking apples at a friend's property in Maine.

He's a gentleman from Boston, a collector of old hot rods, a guy with great stories, great taste, and a pretty special place. He was kind enough to open up his home to us, let us wander around, pick some apples, and shoot a few photos along the way.  Greg was behind the lens, its always cool to see how he interprets things as the brand visionary and owner.

Overall, it was nothing too complicated.   Just a good day searching for some photos, getting the chance to test drive some shoes, and hanging with good people.

Being a small, local business, these are the things that mean a lot to us. The friendships we make, the places we get invited into, and the people who are willing to share a little piece of their world with us.

We spend a lot of time thinking about the things we make. The materials, the details, the process. But sometimes it's nice to get out of the shop and just have some fun.

Not everything needs a big story behind it. Not every moment needs to be perfectly planned or polished. There's something about that idea that feels connected to what we do at Easymoc.

Handmade things aren't always perfect. There's character in the little differences, in the things that make one pair slightly different from the next. That's part of what makes them special.

Maybe the same goes for a good afternoon.  Enjoying nature, some old cars, good conversation, and a friend who opened his doors to us.  That's the kind of stuff we don't take for granted..

Afterall, Easymocs are made for a good time!
